Training Outline

They're Training has been engaged to develop and deliver a two year nominal duration training program entitled the AVI30408 Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service).
This training program is part of the Australian Nationally Recognised Training system. The qualification is recognised Nationally and Internationally.
It is a traineeship and the training is funded by the Australian Government.
This is an "In-house program" tailored specifically for you and your colleagues.
Entry into the program is elective, but is strongly encouraged by your employer.
To undertake this program you must:

Our version of the AVI30408 Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service) has been developed into two streams: Pit Crew/Ramp and Guest/Customer Service. There will be common units between streams as well as unique units within a stream.
Training and Assessment is to commence once formal airline training has been completed or is nearing completion. Training and assessment will occur "on the job", meaning you will attend work as normal and at times be asked to undertake an assessment.
Assessment will consist of you conducting your normal duties to the standard to which you normally perform them. We will require an online assessment in addition to answering scenario and role-play questions.
Your supervisor will be interviewed and at times we will observe participants at work. We may request copies of various work and training records.
You will be found competent by training for and performing your duties and at the end of the course you will be awarded an AVI30408 Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service). If you choose to leave the course early, you will not leave empty handed. You will be issued a Statement of Attainment for any units of competency in which you have been found competent.
